10 Steps to Success
1. Create a comprehensive list of all cancellations you wish to collect.
2. Check the days and hours of operation. A good source is the National Park Service web site. Be sure to consider the precise window of time you wish to visit; many parks vary days and hours of operation by season. Some locations close entirely during some seasons, and several are open only a few weeks the entire year.
3. Enter the GPS coordinates provided by Got the Stamp? into your GPS unit. Calculate the most efficient route from park to park.
4. Create a travel plan that lists the park and the hours you'll spend at the park and traveling between parks. Also, include the days and hours of operation for each site during the season you'll be visiting.
Be sure to use the Ease rating to help plan your time accordingly. For those sites with low Ease ratings, plan for more time to reach and return.
